Ranginui Hunting is home to some of the world’s biggest red stags, with heads ranging in size from 15 to 30 points.

Red deer have acclimatised well in New Zealand after being imported in the early 1870s. The quality of red stags continues to improve through strict breeding and culling programmes. The largest red deer are taken on shooting reserves because of feed conditions and they are allowed to grow to their full potential.

The majestic red stag is a terrific animal and a must for all trophy hunters.
